YOUTH COUNCIL APPLICATIONS

It is that time of the year! May brings the completion of one school year and we must begin to prepare for the success of 2011-12 school year.

There are so many of you who have great leadership skills and some who would learn to develop those skills by being a part of our youth council. Please pray about and consider one of the positions on our council.

You can go to our website and download a copy. Applications will be due the end of May – to start the new year in June.

How can you be a part of our Sunday Worship Experience?

* 1st Sunday of each month - 10th, 11th, and 12th graders have an opportunity to serve our congregation the Lord's Supper.  We need one youth to volunteer each month to help Pastor Susan in serving the elements.  It may be out of your comfort zone but what a blessing it is to lead in this way to our people - ask someone who has done it! 

* 5th Sunday - One Sunday a Quarter.  Youth are responsible for providing our ushers for the worship service and greeters for our Welcome Table.  Being the first one someone sees on Sunday morning is such an important part of the attitude set forth for our worship.  Sign up and be blessed by sharing God's Love with someone on Sunday morning.
